Storm Ciara visits the Piano Academy Skegness

After a whirlwind 24 hours we are coming to terms with damage caused by Storm Ciara. The roof blew off around lunchtime yesterday and the noise was quite shocking and just seemed to be escalating.

The Skegness fire brigade were called to secure the area from falling debris but it was not safe for them to access the roof. The fireman where outstanding with their effects to make the property safe and due to their swift actions it meant that all power was switched off before the downpour of rain happened.

The rain has caused a lot of internal damage. Mainly to the ceilings, floors and electrics as well as several electrical items. We have already made good progress with the clean up however we are just having to wait for the insurance loss adjusters to visit us before we can reopen.
